A Strategy to Make a Difference for the Homeless

Is your congregation impacted by homelessness? Do you wish your congregation could be equipped to do something to address homelessness in your area or in the city?

The Mayor’s Faith Based Partnership Cabinet, with the input of homelessness experts, has put together a strategy for congregations wishing to make a difference in this area. It is called Sacred Streets. It begins with appointing an advocate in your congregation and getting them trained, and then implementing specific strategies known to work.

We will provide training for congregational advocates on April 18, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Bitwise South Stadium downtown, located at 700 Van Ness, Fresno CA 93721.

Register on Eventbrite for this brief but important event.

EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT SURE ABOUT APPOINTING AN ADVOCATE, YOU OR YOUR REPRESENTATIVE ARE WELCOME AT THIS TRAINING.
