L and R Embroidery: 2016 Rural Spark Tank Award Winners

[arve url=”https://youtu.be/3av_PctssDo” title=”L and R Embroidery Rural Spark Tank Award Winners 2016 “/]

This year the CCT expanded its popular Spark Tank Social Business Pitch Fest to rural communities to stimulate entrepreneurship and enterprise in a way that employs people with barriers. One of our first awards went to Lisa and Ron Fitts, who started L&R Embroidery in Reedley. Having experienced difficulty in employment themselves, they have a heart for others, and are excited to build their business to the point of being able to provide employment options for people in similar situations. One of the things we liked best about their model is how closely they are tied to their church, which has provided guidance, mentoring, support and all sorts of connections. They see their faith community as a vital part of their success, and a crucial component in creating employment solutions. We celebrate L&R Embroidery!
