The Community Transformation Certificate (Certificado) is a CCT program designed to equip Spanish-speaking pastors and leaders with training so they can improve their communities and people’s lives in the name of Christ. Over the last six years, Certificado has celebrated:
- 174 graduates
- …from 60 churches
- … and 19 cities throughout the Central Valley!
“What excites me most about the future of the Certificado program is seeing new students join us, expanding into different areas of the Central Valley, and connecting with various congregations,” says Carlina Mueller, Director of Ministry Training at CCT. “ I’m also eager to continue supporting our graduates, staying in touch with them, and being part of the important work they are doing.”
What topics are covered in Certificado?
Certifcado consists of five online modules, each containing five classes that are approximately one and a half to two hours long. Topics covered include:
- Biblical Foundations of Community Transformation
- Spiritual Disciples to Sustain Your Ministry
- Financial Education
- Civic Engagement Tools
- Tools for Family Ministry
Participants will each have a coach throughout the program, who will help them with individual spiritual practices, disciplines, and sustainability, as well as how to apply what they have learned in the Certificate.
“I highly recommend this program for people who have a passion to teach what the Lord gives them,” says Sarah Tapia, former Certificado participant. “Fresno Pacific has excellent coaches who are supporting us with homework and motivate us to continue [through] each module. You will see that every teaching will be transforming [and equip you] to help your community, family, church, and work!”
