Empowering Small Businesses for Sustainable Growth
Start-Up Fest is an annual gathering of the small business community to provide resources and connections to help further the impact of our community.
As a small business, it can be challenging to know what your next step is to take to continue to build a thriving business. There are so many abundant resources in the Central Valley and the goal is for Start-Up Fest to provide opportunities for businesses to scale up and grow sustainably.
Start-Up Fest begins with providing valuable resources and connection time for small businesses to gain knowledge and direction with a wide variety of experts. The afternoon portion of Start-Up Fest is opened up for public engagement. Allowing the community to interact with the business, learn how to engage, purchase, and support these businesses in our community.

About 40 vendors showcased their start-up products and services! Attendees connected with these business owners enjoyed lunch and dessert from local food trucks, and celebrated the following Entrepreneur of the Year awardees:
- Los Dogos de Gordo (awarded by Central Valley Women’s Entrepreneur Center)
- Tink Construction (awarded by CCT)
- La Zapoteca (awarded by Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation)
- Bichos y más (awarded by the Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative)
